The Iron Phase is a 6 day process where Cadets start to put their leadership skills into action through training, planning, and conducting various counter-intelligence, and recon missions. They will learn to
provide their own operational support. This gives the Cadets an
appreciation for the logistics that go into an operation. This is often considered the hardest phase by the Cadets as the wealth of
information that must be collected and assembled in a team
environment is daunting at best.

They must be prepared for anything as they conduct missions planned down to the minute. If they accomplish even one mission the phase is considered a success. Cadets must learn to become highly coordinated in order to complete the tasks before them. Only then can they become the tip of the spear.
